Meenakshi is not a god.. She was a daughter of pandiya king and ruled the city for decades.. We respect her that's why we built temples. Tamil ppls are very educated and well governed than what we r doing tday Some brahmins creating lot of fake stories of queen meenakshi. Meenakshi is not paarvathi as per what written in the same temple itself as well as ancient tamil literature
