Proper voicing, chord selections, and chord progressions within the thoughtful arrangements combined with good tone, balance and pitch result in hearing the rich characteristic colors of each instrument. The band is clean and tight, and it's only August! Of course, it can always be better. Keep striving to sound professionally--for musical excellence.

Norfolk was on to something until they stood still while playing in dance formation and isolated Tubas and Percussion to stationary. At least they didn't put horns on the ground and danced like some. FAMU is just different. That olympic fanfare........ I almost ran around my culdesac holding up a cigarette lighter 😂

LOL that's something that they've been doing for years and it works for them as the main focus for the band in maintaining the high quality of sound that they're known for. As long as the crowd is entertained that's all that matters. The percussion parts are very intricate so them dancing wouldn't translate well.
