Legendary music icon Prince requested the Florida A&M University Marching 100 band accompany him during his epic Super Bowl XLI Halftime performance held February 4, 2007.

My daughter had just gone down to FAMU in fall 06 and was in the 100. This was the highlight of her life and ours. Amazing performer he is!

@@garfieldtrout6609 the comment was actually said jokingly, however, it was not silly at all to see such representation in the community and two excellent head coaches who happened to be black as well, which is not often seen in the NFL. On a further note, Black culture is beautiful and it was celebrated that night. Prince was huge on representation and could have chosen anyone to represent Florida, but chose FAMU instead. Thanks for the comment though. Always important to have the conversations.
