This is the first time FAMU came to AAMU since 1974. My critical comments are. 1). FAMU has an extremely large band (way too big.) 2. They are just simply loud . 3. Without a dance line (dacing girls). 4. Our previous band director GRADUATED from FAMU. He had a&m's band playing the same stuff y'all played Saturday. We stopped that noise 10 years ago. 5. Your band needs something sensational (I advise dancing girls with tight SNAKE SKIN BODY SUITS). I gave your performance a big YARN. 6. It can fixed. 1974 is not happening!!! Huggy Bear
@RoderickBacon-d9z10 ай бұрын
Naw we're good! Y'all keep the dancing girls and the hoochie coochie drum majors. All that stuff is just to distract from that trash you have on the field. AND STOP PUTTING YOUR DAMN INSTRUMENTS ON THE GROUND!!! Once you do that, you're just a lot of black folks dancing around!!
@solidrock799810 ай бұрын
Your comment told us everything we needed to know about you, Kid. FAMU is a musical band and has always had a balanced sound at any size. They have enough razzle dazzle without the need of a tip toeing Burlesque freak show dancing in front of them. AAMU needs to return to a time when they were interested in being musical instead of being desperate to sound like a more ratchet Southern.

I'll say it again.......AAMU,, GOOD SOUND. Like FAMU and BCU, u don't need to CRANK, just keep pushing. Some folks got a problem with what I said earlier about this CRANKIN ASS SWAC, so let me double down. Tubas weren't built to sound like fuckn piccolos. A band that screams all day can't produce true power naturally, ON or BELOW the staff. Oldest trick in the book my boy. Why u think only a dog can hear dog whistles 🤣. Lets get TSU in next cause the Swac needs better tone quality fast. FAMU and BCU were a blessing. Check the tapes...🤷🏾♂️

😂😂😂😂😂 that bih sad band ppl. You mean swac people. They cant get sound outta them so the dont know what to do with them. Lets see, the easiest instruments to get sound out of are abundant in "SWAC" bands then they say hey we can play loud. Dam Caveman like tendencies. Just like someone getting loud in an argument don't mean you won the argument.

@@MrWilson1972 cranking will always go on in the 5th in the swac. But it’s definitely not all. There are plenty clips of 5th quarters of other swac bands doing so.
