Well I have been a Bandhead for 45years. FAMU has always had the best Band. Until they got kicked off the yard. Other bands are just now catching up. FAMU doesn't always have the best song Selection but as far as Musicality they're the best. Norfolk State University is another that is really good. BCU sounds good but need to work on their field shows. Jacksons State U has gotten much better. They are looking good.

@@gordonclark9893 You might’ve misread me. Probably so. I drunk typed this comment. But what I was meaning by that is only and ONLY zero and 5th quarters. This is the deepest I’ve heard FAMU’s book. To add to that, FAMU’s is gonna be the nastiest Zero and fifth quarter band in the SWAC,Nevermind marching (because they already have that on lock) without the need to crank to sound good at that. And that’s the biggest difference that’ll have them dragging these other schools in the coming years
