TO ALL OTHERS, I CANNOT EXPLAIN THE FEELING YOU HAVE PLAYING THIS SONG AND CRYING AT THE SAME TIME. TRYING TO PLAY, KEEP YOURSELF COMPOSED ON PLAYING YOUR PART WITH A SPIRIT RUNNING THROUGH YOU AND SINGING THE WORDS...... YOU HAVE NO IDEA. THIS WAS A VERY EMOTIONAL MOMENT DURING MY TIME WITH "THE HUNDRED".

I have tears in my eyes as I listen to this and sad also at the same time at my people you do not realize who you are. We are the Israelites, yes, of the Bible. For our disobedience we were scattered to the four corners of the earth by ship (Deuteronomy 28:64-68. We were to awaken in the end times to remember who we are. I pray you all are awaken to this truth, as we must repent for our sins and the sins of our forefathers. And return to our Father’s Commandments.

@@brothermaurice the only issue with this is that it ignores the brutality of Europeans across the face of the earth. They own their own sins just as well. God bless

I first played this song with a mostly black praise band directed by a FAMU alumnus. He never liked how we played it - and i never understood why that was - until i heard this version. It is incredibly moving and emotion

It brings me to tears every time I hear this song. My sister, who was a graduate of FAMU, recently left this earth to be with our Savior, her mother and father. I remember being in the audience when the band performed this piece at homecoming and crying because I was so moved. It was amazing to witness. I did not know who this young lady was at time but you could feel the power of her performance as well as the band. It is my prayer that the Father will order all of our steps in His word. We need Thee more than ever to guide us through an ever chancing world for You are always the same.

Tragically if my memories about this serves me well..!? The decision was made by FAMU's Dr. Julian E. white and Staff an both humbling and numbing change in their show performance itinerary, from an R&B to this 'VERY - MOVING' FULL GOSPEL SOUL SPIRITUAL after learned of the death(2) and injuries(2) of (4)Four GRAMBLING STATE U. Students in an deadly accident in Louisiana enroute to HONDA BOTB 2005 in Atlanta, Ga.. You talk about CLASS ACT and HBCU UNITY, mourning together. HUBBA "100" HUBBA Doc...HUBBA HBCU's. *TO ALMIGHTY GOD BE ALL OF THE GLORIES*

During the 80's and 90's and even into 2000 forth we were able to come together and marvel, be amazed even at a group of talented young people in a marching band not only with talent to play instruments but unbelievable vocals and ability to dance even. I miss that!! I pray that someday while I still have my being FAMU regains and surpasses that luster of old."Order their steps dear Lord".
