Awesome. Well explained. I look forward to seeing move rumba. You both dance beautifully. Thanks for sharing these techniques.

Class demontration, it's really hard to find good leading content. i am taught routines mainly as part of my exams, but not to lead for social dances. we will work on all five of those now till its nailed.....thanks a million.

Thanks for a great tutorial! I have just discovered your channel and am really enjoying your videos. Very thorough and easy to understand. I prefer no background music, as some others have commented, but this is only a minor issue. Thank you for being so willing to share your expertise! Two topics that I can think of that would be useful for you to cover is lady’s posture/topline in Ballroom and some arm styling tips for Latin. I am from New Zealand and have been dancing for over 10 years. I have a good teacher, but in general dance teachers are a bit thin on the ground over here, so it’s great to be able to access videos such as these for extra tuition and advice, and a different perspective on how to execute the steps and figures.

Hi there! We're really happy you've discovered the channel and are enjoying the videos. Yes, we've gotten a lot of feedback about the background music and have since started making our videos without background music. :) We do mention the lady's topline and posture in our videos, particularly in our Contra Check video, but yes, maybe it's a good idea to devote a video just for that. It is a hot topic, after all, and we teach dozens of lessons just on that. Arm styling is a great idea, too! Thanks for the suggestions, it definitely makes it easier for us to plan our videos when we know what our audience is looking for. Good luck in New Zealand!

Thank you for this tutorial. I found a lot of useful tips in addition to the main part. It seems to me that you may improve your teaching greatly if you add counting and then demonstrate the figures with music. (or if there is an issue with author's rights, turn on metronome).

We are currently hard at work on a new setup in order to address the sound issues. This video was prepared during the same time period as the contra check tutorial, and shares the same sound issues. Just stick with us! We are working hard to provide a better experience for you! 😃😃😃

@@SKDancesport I'm sorry but your sliding doors is not the book basic way of dancing it. Your version is already a very advanced way.
