@@JH-ot5mn that brand is sold in the US. Could easily be that the batch they were filming was destined for the US market. Could also be that with how similar Canada is to the US that they put corn syrup in everything as well, though I think they use maple syrup instead of corn syrup. I'll let an actual Canadian inform me on that

I work in one of Australia's largest meat companies doing everything from this to bacon, hams, cabana etc I won't eat any of it I'll go to the butcher or to the paddock for real meat this stuff is gross to touch

Processed food is garbage. And this is just a hot dog. Imagine all the processing that goes into "food" like microwave dinners... Every bit of that "meal" is as processed and full of chemicals as a hot dog. Just buy real meat... It's not hard to learn to cook, premade meals are terrible.

When I first saw this episode, I didn’t touch a hot dog for five years. I’ve eaten them maybe four times since that day, never bought them, and it was about 13 years ago. Makes me wonder how many other things lost customers because of this show? I know I switched tortilla brands because of this show, too.

Reminds me of when i used to pick on my co worker when i was young when he would constantly go fishing and some community of people had moved in around his favorite pond and ate the largemouth bass, gutting them and leaving the bones at the shore. It does happen. Funny to joke about it (i did), i used to tell him i'll go cook the biggest bass I catch and bring him some 😂 I've worked with someone who used to eat dog meat back where he was from. It happens, we treat them as pets but people do come from cultures where animals like guinea pigs, rabbits, cats, dogs, are food... It won't suddenly stop because they came to the US. Not saying everyone does it... i would say it's only a few, but it is normal in some cultures and people will see taking a cat or dog no differently than me or anyone else getting a racoon, deer, etc...

Try to find kowalski brand natural casing dogs. I know they ship all over the US if you order from the website, but its entirely area dependent if they are in stores. Best dog I've ever had

beef franks are typically all beef but many hot dogs are mixed meat like the ones here. beef franks and mixed meat hot dogs have different wording on their packaging that kinda tells you the difference although i can understand it being easy to confuse them as they are usually right next to each other in the same fridge in a typical grocery store. its very easy to ignore the different wording on the similar looking packages. while I do prefer all beef franks I don't care enough about them to justify spending more if the mixed meat hotdogs are cheaper.

Nathan's hot dogs & Hebrew National are my favorite dogs. On a road trip from FL to NJ a few years ago I found hot dogs that were long, about 12" and thinner than other hot dogs. They were also spicy with a great snap when you took a bite. I can't remember the name brand & there is nothing like them here in FL? Anyone have any ideas what brand they might have been? Shalom

Gmo core starch and corn syrup, tons of salt, ifs buts and organs, and “flavorings”. Just toss it in some smoking hot seed oils, and yum 🤤 😋. Cheap, nutritious and delicious. What else do you want.
