Man, this compilation had me on a such a rollercoaster, crying sad and happy tears left and right. I felt like I was reliving 2020 all over again, so seeing Sagan and remembering my own personal feelings about the beginning of the pandemic was hard. But remembering all of the wonderful moments from this year felt so good as well. Thank you, Stephen and Mal and friends, for all the content you put into the world and for recording all of these beautiful moments.

Rewatched these and I remember when the Sagan vlog went up, it was trending on twitter and looking at it, I remember saying "oh no" The support pouring out from the folks following your vlog, it was so hard seeing you two mourning the loss of a beloved cat. And it hits close to me as a cat of mine recently passed a couple months ago. Their memories forever live on.

....my heart is both light and heavy...i reflected again on my 2020 as i watched yours and mal's and was reminded how rough play year was on me and my family lost my grandma...the backbone and matriarch of the house. she very much was the queen 👑. we lost my aunt 8 months later. i came out as non-binary and told me family i wanted to be called Eli and use they/them pronouns after i moved back home after a break up after being gone for a year. the adjustment hasn't been the easiest for either thing...but i started drawing again. which lead to me grabbing my paints again and religiously studying mals videos for techniques and learning. (she never did stop teaching just made the class size larger and less questions.) This week I'm going to submit my art to place in a new local gallery to sell... it's a mix of games and other passion projects including clothing I've painted and customized... so i have to say I'm glad i made it through 2020 with y'all and my community i consider family. thank you Stephen and mal for everything 💚🖤💚🖤💚🖤💚 -Eli_and_Comapany on twitch

If it weren't the fact that I knew Sagan was a brown tabby. In the pictures taken, he looked very much like my gray tabby but born of opposite gender. Beginning of 2020 was cruel to you both just like the end of 2019 was for me. My little fur sister (not saying pet so shut up! She wasn't a pet if she got treated like family. We grew up together.) passed away on November 7th, 2019. She was only 14.5 years old.
