That's awesome! I bought one about a month ago to use on my wood stove in the cabin. Haven't been able to use it out there yet since a tree limb messed the cabin up. I hope to get that fixed back up and get the stove reinstalled so I can use it. I did try it on my kitchen stove and it worked well. Really cool product!

So… one of your videos popped up on my feed. So… I watched it. And then, I watched another. And then, this video popped up. I was just telling my pops that I think there is a fan that you can put on the buddy heater that doesn’t take any power/ batteries etc. I find it ironic that I just said that to him and now here is a video about it. Cheers to you Mr Trail Medic!

I have one at my cabin in the HNF. I use it on both my wood stove and my Big Buddy. I find it works best if you mount it to the side directly over the low/medium panel. This is my second winter with it and it has been quite reliable.

Excellent, I thought it looked like it would be reliable. Thanks for watching! 👍

It has a TEG inside. Thermal energy generator. It basically generated electricity from heat. Great reviewe.

Thanks, I didn’t know what it was called. 👍

Thermoelectric Generator* Been a HUGE fan of this technology for decades now and have two cook pots that utilize them to be able to actually charge my tech like smartphone and Garmin -- love TEG's🤗

@TrailMedic911 Thermoelectric Generator* I've been a HUGE fan of this technology for many years now and have two devices -- one an actual cook pot -- that utilize TEG's to be able to actually charge my tech like my smartphone and Garmin while I'm boiling my water -- love TEG's🤗🥰

The new version/iteration uses a machined aluminum plate rather than a wire mounting; the only reason I got it actually, as it makes the unit far more versatile. Merry Christmas 2024!
