I tried ABS Gloop on Buildtak once. Probably killed the Buildtak (I had written it off anyway, the thing had a hole in it), but it stuck to every styrene (ABS, ASA, HIPS) since until we replaced it 4 months later. It lasted longer than untreated Buildtak, and didn't need cleaning. Not sure if it's a good idea in every scenario. I think aqua net on glass will work great (from what little I remember working with the Robo3D R1). PEI does work (Prusa smooth sheet), as long as warping is addressed.

I do very well with ABS (Hobby King) on a Garolite plate with gluestick and a 100C bed. Esun sticks very well too but MH Build does not - and an enclosure - built one now but started with a garbage bag draped over helps too. HIPS is the better ABS though. Printer MH PULSE and yes - we (FRC team 1989) print big parts (build plate size) out of ABS (and HIPS and Nylon and PETG....)
