Ive got a issue, that no one has seem to of had before. turning on my heater fan switch, the idle revs up to 3000 and stays there as long as the fans are on. putting it in gear and trying to drive with the fans on causes surging of the revs ????????

Try checking into the IAC sensor. My 91 vert did something like that. This sensor revs up the motor when electric load happens

Went to my local autoparts store and paid 70+ bucks for the resistor about a week before looking online for another part and on a whim looked to see what a resister would be . www.rockauto.com/en/catalog/suzuki,1998,sidekick,1.8l+l4,1317413,heat+&+air+conditioning,blower+motor+control+module+/+resistor,6557 1/3rd the cost! Pays to look around before grabbing ! Oh well it's not like I will replace it every year or anything so lesson learned.

@@unclesandcrab right on for getting back to me! I actually ended up doing it but I still don’t have good contact on all speeds except for the last one. So my next move is to replace the resistor 🤷🏼‍♂️ and hopefully I get all my speeds back and maybe some contact in between speeds. Feels like it just floats over the contacts

@@braddahdussifyoumuss596 sometimes the contacts get dirty too , you can get electrical contact clean in a spray can.
