When i first saw the Fanatics Premium i was relieved. Cause yeah, it shows that Nike was the one that goofed on the MLB jerseys. Fanatics honestly did a good job, it helps they hired people from Adidas and Reebok who worked on NHL jerseys before. Also Shannon and Yvonne using Gen Z and Gen Alpha Lingo (more gen alpha) is hilarious

MLB are an investor in Fanatics. Millions of dollars over several funding rounds. Nike took the heat for the mess not the MLB’s investment. Fanatics are a stakeholder they have input in changes. They’re not innocent in that mess. These jerseys will only decrease in quality. They’re not an apparel or fashion brand. They’re an ecommerce company making clothing. It’s not about the culture or function, it’s profit only. Get ready for the decrease in quality and increase in price. MiC will not last, the overheads are way too big when there’s already manufacturing in Vietnam and Indonesia when overheads and staff pay and benefits don’t compare to Canada.

Though I have noticed a lot of Americans are very fickle when it comes to their "favorite team". When they win they immediately jump on board; when they lose they drop all affilitation until they start winning again haha it's hilarious.

I just bought my first Flyers jersey since the 2017 stadium series jersey (probably the worst quality jersey I own) and I must say I’m pleasantly surprised with the fanatics premium jersey. We’ll see how it holds up with the wear and tear, but it looks and feels nice which is a surprise because fanatics is well known for having shit quality products. Go Flyers!

Does anyone know how much roomier the new Fanatics Premium jerseys are compared to the Fanatics Breakaway? The (German based) webstore I’m looking at has those two and in the description it says the Premium is roomier than the Breakaway. Now I have fitted a Breakaway and size medium is good for me, but I’d prefer the waist to be just a little tighter but not the chest/shoulders (if it’s just a little bit that would be ok). Would I need to go down to size Small actually for the Premium or would that be too small?
