I disagree, the show's art direction was incredibly strong, with some of the most expressive 3D animation around at the time.

@@michaelbullen3104 the animation is rough, but I’m just talking about the designs specifically. If it had the budget for hand drawn or even just better flash animation, it could have worked. Foster’s home and motor city were both done in flash and both looked great.

It’s actually super cool to see an in-universe origin for Fanboy and Chum Chum’s costume. I assume Fanman would evolve into Manarctica, since both are masked superheroes with some sort of relation to ice, but it makes sense that the Ice Monster would become the Frosty Freezy Freeze mascot in the final show. Overall, super neat find. I never understood the hate for Fanboy and Chum Chum because it’s one of those silly cartoons you watch to have a good time with its dumb characters; not every cartoon has to be some depressing melodrama with morally complex characters that revolutionizes how stories are told.

No, Nick & Frederator picked FBCC around 2004. Adventure Time wasn’t made until 2006. Projects take time. The pilots came 2007, but released 2008 on Random Cartoons.

I watch fanboy and chum chum, when i was little kid i thought this show was action packed hilarious and superhero-y but as i got older i just thought the show was simply ok 👍more or less, funny but ok , it's not like it was such as big deal anyway the show ended like several years ago and most people maybe or probably forgotten that cartoon existed now since it only got 1 or 2 seasons and that's it? As a fan of fanboy and chum chum I feel the pilot while entertaining wasn't great The pilot didn't really showcase the potential that the series would do (outside of its stylized cg animation) But I still enjoyed it and hey the show is great regardless Boog is boss And honestly it's better than those clunky oh yeah fairly oddparents shorts
