In all of SNSD's MR's she consistently hits all of her notes regardless of how intense the dance sequence is. I just want to put her on a pedestal and give her a freaking medal already. This girl deserves all the success in the world.

You did a very good job. A DSLR was not necessary at this range, and they might not have let you bring it into the studio anyway. Frequently point-and-shoot cameras are permitted, but "professional-looking" equipment is not allowed. The truth is, you were damn lucky. Some sones would consider this the opportunity of a lifetime.
