The people who believe that Taeyeon kicked Jessica out of the group are either kids, or just stupid. Clearly, those people know nothing about running a business and neither did Jessica at the time as she didn't think that SM would be such a weighty decision. SM and SNSD took a beating when Jessica got kicked out, stocks dropped, fans were divided...feelings were hurt. Do you honestly they'd entrust Taeyeon to make such decisions? If SM gave their idols that much freedom they wouldn't be known as slave drivers.

+Rainy sT IF SM was the one who decided to kick Jessica out..SNSD would've done something..like become absent during the concert in order to confront them..knowing BUSINESS whenever a company makes a decision it needs to be passed down to the lower levels (i.e. the other employees but in this case the artists) in order to give their views and give approval to that specific subject. What I think is that they (the company) made the decision, passed it to Taeyeon then she passed it to the other members (excluding Jessica) then held a meeting to approve or give opinions about the subject. Once SM told them that it would benefit the group as a whole and neglected Jessica's opinion (Jessica and SM had a meeting where Sica said that she could juggle everything..SNSD and her Fashion Line) so they approved and the rest is history

Really what choice did they have? Whether they approved of it does not matter, once again SNSD is a brand, not a band of best friends who got specifically hand picked by Taeyeon to become a group. If SM decides to get rid of anyone, what can they do but nod, try to fight it (in vain btw), or just try to get along. Everyone's under contract you know, they have all been under SM since they were young, SM and SNSD were/are their identities. So yeah...no if the board decides one piece doesn't fit anymore everyone has to just move on. And why would SM only pass this to Taeyeon, that leader crap only really counts to the fans. Everyone was called to the meeting, Taeyeon was no more or no less involved than anyone else. Sorry but a high school educated singer isn't gonna be allowed to do anything at a company besides the thing they brought her on for, and that is to sing. Jessica was no victim here, she had to know what was brewing and honestly she had to know the company was upset. As fans, none of know the WHOLE story, we can only speculate, but personally I think there was wrong done on BOTH sides. Now I'm not saying that I agree with SM, because from the business aspect I feel like it was a stupid idea. She was going on hiatus anyway, they should have waited her out.

According to legit insider information, although jessica was gonna go on hiatus but, at the last minute, jessica decides she wants to stay and continue her activities with her group. Thats why the company was mad because there were already alot of things planned to make her farewell beautiful.Yet, everything was screwed up. The members have no power to kick Sica out. I repeat, THE MEMBERS DONT HAVE THE POWER TO KICK HER OUT. You know who can? SM. They trained Jessica; they paid for dorms, food, management, and training. As a company, they invested in Jessica. So they would expect that investment to keep making them money. But then she decided she wanted to start a business. It is perfectly okay for members to have solo activities as long as it's a part of SNSD. Yoona's dramas promote SNSD. But a private business would not promote SNSD. Not only that, if she's focusing on something else, she can't focus on things SNSD has to do together. So what would a huge company do if they aren't getting the investment they wanted? They would get rid of it. So stop blaming the other members because they are also only investment. They are also expendable. SM will milk as much money as they can. This is the reason they sue those who have left EXO and TVXQ. Because of their greed.

+yelyel09 Actually, SM sue the members because they want to break their binding contract. Jessica's contract was about to expire, therefore there was no lawsuit. A legally binding contract is supposed to be fulfilled, but DBSK, Super Junior and EXO members pleaded to break those, leave before their contract had expired and therefore breaking a "deal" so to speak. Also, Kris and Luhan for example, working whilst the contract hasn't been nullified is also illegal. SM sure is the bad guy here, but the fans should also know what contracts really mean. The members themselves sign the contracts and (hopefully) read them thouroughly before doing so, just making that clear. And of course, the SNSD members do not have the power to kick her out, I completely agree that that is some made up bullshit.

Taeyeon went out of her way to make sure Dispatch caught her on dates with Baekhyun. If Jessica was reckless, then so is Taeyeon. Is this K-Sone going to call her reckless? Doubt it. She was not secretive about it. I guess Taeyeon "damaged SNSD's career". 2. Songs can be recorded anywhere in the world where a recording studio exists, NYC happens to have a lot of these. 3. SNSD has basic choreography and anyone can learn it. They learn some of their choreography by video anyway. 4. Jessica is 25 and does not have learning disabilities. Stop blaming SNSD or SM for the departure of Jessica. Both SM & SNSD gave Sica a choice to make. SNSD or Sica personal business. Sica eventually chose her business but she said that she will only focus on her business for a period of time first and then return back to SNSD. She said she will take a hiatus. Both SM & SNSD agreed to it. The members also did publicly support Blanc & Eclare. Arrangements were to made to adjust all performance without Jessica, including Tokyo Dome, The Best concert. However, at the very last minute Sica said that she wants to return to SNSD instead of focusing on her business first. Which ruins the whole plans. Sica fans be like saying but they could have just get her back and go on with the concert. One word from me to the haters and sica fans, things don't work so easily. As a event planner myself, last minute changes are really hectic and difficult. You literally have to change the whole thing. The dance, the audio system, the lighting, the camera and more. It's not just 'You can just let sica back and proceed with the performance they did in other concerts.' . SNSD have new songs that they have yet to perform in their past concerts and they also reform a new dance move for an old song. And not to mention, they have video clips in between the concert so as to allows the idols to change and rest. Videos clips were all done and filmed without Jessica. How do you expect the team to refilm the whole video last minute? Set needs to be arranged, schedule of the girls may not match. It's not so simple. Hence, Jessica was kicked out because it's her fault in the first place. I don't see a reason why Jessica can't focus on her personal business and SNSD. Do you see other idols taking a break from the group just because of their personal business? No. And when I say other idols, I mean those that are as popular as SNSD. Also, Jessica missed a few fan meetings due to her personal business, Blanc & Eclare. She was late for several events due to her personal business as well. Was G-Dragon like that? No. He did not prioritize his own fashion business. He put Big Bang above anything else. He don't miss any of the events nor was he late for any of the event due to his business. He didn't leave or take a break from Big Bang just to focus on his business either. So I really don't understand why you haters need to blame SM & SNSD for the departure of Jessica.

I don't want to start a fan-war but "extra appearances" (cf, acting, variety etc) are all managed by SM. After all, these things make up the most part of an idols earnings (not sure if this applies to large groups cause they're soo well known). Also, I think SM would only remove Jessica if having her in the group would be more detrimental then not. That's probably why she was kicked. I don't think SM would remove her unless letting her stay would "hold back". But that's just what I think :P

The fans in the audience were kind of rude here chanting Jessica. The girls are obviously upset and the fans chanting her name only makes it worse. This performance was a cluster fuck. You could tell how removed they felt because there was an empty space. They probably didn't have enough time to prepare a different performance filling her space. I'm glad they left her parts blank for the first performance back though

Rumor has it the girls manager told them to cover Jessica's parts but the girls refused saying it wasn't fair to their fans to just take over all of Jessica's lines as though she was sick or never a part of the group. Also the girls didn't force Jessica out, they asked her which career was more important to her and told Jess that if she had to chose one or the other which one would she chose. The girls manager told Jess she was either part of the group or she was a designer but couldn't do both and since Jessica wanted to do one more album first the management kicked her out saying since she couldn't make up her mind we made the decision ourselves.

It's sad to see that the wound between Jess and members still has not healed she doesn't show up to any of their birthday gathering and they dont wish her a happy birthday either nor do they mention her name in interviews when she is brought up. If we ever want to see 0T9 again its obvious that the girls bond is going to have to be repaired. Taeyeon even mentioned in their latest interview that the incident was shameful and Jess has also stated that when she was dismissed from the group there wasnt time for her to properly say goodbye to the ones she loved. I feel like there's distance between Jess and the girls now just because of the unspoken words and feelings of regret and shame. Both sides have had to forcefully move on and its sad because you can see the effects its having on the girls especially sunny.
