EPIC!!!! Yes he has sung with parents. You can look it up on utube. I see you have many comments about this song and Dimash. So rather than repeat -- what impresses me about this performance is: his perfect pitch on every note no matter the octave change, his conviction, his breath control, his full out operatic voice in this amazing composition, the fact he punches every note with the same amount of force where most songs do not require this, he never wavers throughout the piece even though he must hit almost every note with few breaks and at full volume. YES he IS a beast!!

I like your reactions. No shtick. Just natural appreciation for this amazing talent. And yes, he practices. A lot. I believe he's taken lessons since he was 5. He's a perfectionist and always looking to get better. Even his performances now compared to a few years ago are so much more refined. I was watching a youtube video about a sports analyst (think sport science) talk about how much work Tom Brady puts in just to improve 1%. There is no doubt Dimash does the same.

It's a motivational song, like Don't be scared, move forward, you are strong. And he training himself since the age of 5 and he still train himself for 3hrs a day. Why don't you go to his Wikipedia page for all the information about him which is updated regularly with references plus follow him on his Instagram for latest news and performances. Yes, his family, friends, fans and his country is proud of him. His government chose him as youth ambassador for last few year and awarded him "The citizen of the year" 2019. Besides that he received quite a few awards this December.

Yrsh...he sang Ogni Pietra/Olympico at his solo concert ARNAU ENVOY in New York's Barclays Centre last December 10th, 2019. Full house standing ovations. FYI, Ogni Pietra is a war/fighting/motivating song. This song was composed specifically for Dimash by famous Russian composer Maestro Igor Krutoy. Dimash first sang Ogni Pietra at the European Olympics Games 2019 in Minsk, Belarus as the flag bearing opening ceremony. Since them he has performed this song numerous times at various venues. This is a 5 octaves song. So far, Dimash is the only known singer on this planet (male and female) who can switch octaves, tones, notes instantly/immediately back and forth seamlessly without voice cracks.

And yes, this FANCAM version is recorded by a fan! 😁😁😁 Of course Dimash did perform with his parents (They are both famous singers.)
