I think the characters should be double-cast because of how Act 1 takes place when they are in school and Act 2 takes place many years later. @@AndyTolsky I still feel she's too old though. I saw Jackie Evancho on Masked Singer and she's got incredible range (since Glinda's part is more than just operatic) and I really think this could be her vehicle to stardom. The girl topped Classical Billboard like 8 times and she's barely 20...she deserves the consideration. And Julie Andrews should atleast be an option for the role of Morrible, because it would be a great bookend for her career. I'm not too bothered about Fiyero, Nessa etc...I see those as options for stunt casting. Dillamond should definitely be a POC, maybe Morgan Freeman or Denzel Washington. I honestly have no clue who they'll cast as Elphaba ...but I can tell you it won't be Lea Michele with what's happening right now.

Dove Cameron as Glinda might be well paired with China Anne McClaine as Elphaba? But I also think Nicole Scherzinger might be a good Glinda paired with Alexandra Burke as Elphaba. One thing I’d kinda like to see with elphaba is someone who looks a little more like Margaret Hamilton as she’s described to be a little more alike to her in the book with a pointed chin and strong features etc; it’d also be a nice homage to the woman who played her first :)
