Fancy Stitch Combos - Raised Rib

Instructions for working the Raised Rib Stitch:
Cast-on a multiple of 4 stitches, plus 3.
Row 1 (RS): *P1, ktbl, P1, K1*, repeat between *s to last three stitches, P1, ktbl, P1
Row 2: K1, ptbl, K1, *K2, ptbl, K1*, repeat between *s to end
Bind-off normally on the right side of the work.
To work this stitch in-the-round:
Cast-on a multiple of 4 stitches.
Round 1: *P1, ktbl, P1, K1*, repeat between *s to end of round
Round 2: *P1, ktbl, P2*, repeat between *s to end of round

I love a good descriptive name, but a cute catchy one can be just as effective. The first thing I thought when I saw the swatch was that it looked like the rows of a well tended kitchen garden. The fact that it includes seed stitch convinced me that I should suggest something along the lines of "Veggie patch" ribbing.

Hi I love how you've shown all of the stitches! I am making a throw with all over pattern that is flat without a border from a natural off white color merino cashmere blend. Are there and of these stitches you would not recommend and one you would ? The fisherman rib or twisted rib both seem great for this! Any advice is greatly appreciated ❤️ thank you 😊

Love this stitch pattern. I think it would make a great reversible hat. Can it be knit in the round and still get the same effect? If so, do you have instructions for that? Thanks so much for your great tutorials.
