I have been working in the restaurant industry for over 3 years and that is completely unacceptable and unprofessional for the host to ask you guys that and especially the server snapping his fingers it’s like sarcastic. Stuff like that is disgusting because it’s about making every guest feel comfortable and having a wonderful experience I’m happy the manger came over that’s good your server told him and recognized you guys were uncomfortable. If you were at my restaurant your entire meal would have been free if my boss knew any guest felt uncomfortable from an employees actions. I’m sorry that happened to you guys Gabi, didn’t deserve that at all. So surprising they treated you that way since you clearly have money(in a good way) meaning you can afford a good tip if treated good

I don't know if it's just me but I don't think the guys was trying to be insulting. He was talking to his coworker and it's normal for coworkers to be more casual. It seemed to me that he probably saw his coworker trying to make conversation with them and wanted to keep things moving. Restaurants tend to be busy so he was most likely just directing traffic...rather then trying to insult them based on the way they were dressed .

My son had 2 hamsters, one was all white named Snow but she died at the end of 2017 (she was pretty young too, only 2 years old). His first hamster named Master Splinter just died tonight, so seeing your baby hamster made me so sad for him. He still doesn’t know he passed away. He was awake, drank some water, we left the house and hours later when we came back and my son went to bed I checked him (he’s 4 years old which is old for a hamster) and he wasn’t breathing or moving. I dont even know how to tell my son tomorrow when he wakes up because he was devastated when Snow died. I hope we find another hamster as friendly and cuddly as yours! Snow was a sweetie pie/scaredy cat but Master Splinter was very standoffish and sometimes mean. He’d hiss and try to bite any chance he got, but the kids still loved them all the same.

The girl greeter was coming of condescending and very judgmental like “oh it’s another herd of rich bitches” kind of energy. She asked them “where are you coming from” in a rude way.. The male waiter then interrupts and tells the hostess to hurry up and seat them before they start bitching.. BOTH employees were in the wrong for making the customer feel unwanted. They deserved the punishment their boss gave them either if that was a simple talk or if he ended up firing them. Lesson learned for them either way to not be rude to customers.. Also FYI she never directly complained to the restaurant.. Another employee over heard the entire situation and reported her co workers. She then took it upon herself to make their dining experience as comfortable as possible. That waitress was the real MVP for that Gabbi did not intentionally try to flaunt her wealth as if she was better than everyone else in the room. And it’s sad that she has to down play and make excuses as to why she owns the things she does or goes all out for her friends.. Again it’s rude to judge others. Just like you wouldn’t judge a poor person for what they can’t afford you shouldn’t judge a wealthy person for what they can afford. As long as they’re decent human beings it should not matter what a person owns. Treat others as you would wanna be treated. Periodt.

I've worked in restaurants for a long time and I can say that that is totally normal. A host, if they see someone dressed up, should ask where you're coming from like a party or something because if you're celebrating they can let your server know and they can help you celebrate. As for the server telling the host to seat them, that happens all the time. If inspectors come in and see that the host isn’t seating people quickly than they can get in trouble. You seriously need to relax.

You have a big advantage where you can make a difference in the world just by what you post online. No, it’s not me to tell you how to live your life. It is your life, right? You shouldn’t care what other people think. But how you live your life is affecting so many other peoples’ lives, and I do hope you care about that.
