Luigi getting bukkake’d is gonna live in my head rent free now, though. Your edgeplay description was wrong, btw, in terms of kink. It’s essentially writing/illustrating(or doing) something that comes with severe bodily, emotional, or mental risk (i.e. non-SSC, or what’s considered RACK in the scene). It’s subjective because every person has different triggers, but asphyxiation, gunplay, knifeplay, beatings, etc are considered standard edgeplay because of inherent danger to life. Depending on personal triggers from trauma, though, edgeplay can be as simple and ‘mundane’ as verbal humiliation, picking out clothes, forced bedwetting, etc. It’s a very nebulous ‘kink’. Okay, I’ll get off my spiked leather soapbox now LOL

Number 10 as you described is “edging”; number 10 is more accurately described as, the train hogties someone to the track, and the other person desires to be run over by the train, going full speed. There are multiple types of trains, from trains that make you bleed, or trains that use knives for wheels. Basically, an umbrella term for all kinds of train stations that may be on the “edge” of what is seen as safe.

I’m doing a fandom-specific October (SSOpromptober specifically) and another tip I have for people: feel free to combine prompts! For example, I’m combining day 6, 13, and 16, which means I had the 6th + today “off” from writing! It allowed me to combine prompts I had vague similar ideas from into one fic and gives me days to take a breather! Also, if you don’t want to prewrite stuff, you can always still do a brainstorm for every prompt ahead of time! And yes, like Coley says, see the prompts as vague guidelines or inspiration, and feel free to twist them! For example, “Tail” could be a hairstyle, it could be an animal tail, it could be someone “being tailed”!

Also, I laughed hard at your makeshift metaphors when talking about the original prompt list! 😆 Edit: A piece of advice I forgot to put here: Write/draw what makes *you* happy. I recently wrote some Kinktober stuff for three games I love very much and I honestly don’t care if I don’t have a specific number of kudos, comments or whatever on there.
