This is one of the best shows that also happen to be quite underrated. And yeah describing it as Harry Potter or Narnia for adults is quite apt. The comparisons are clear even in the first ep, what's with the world behind a furniture piece, magic school, etc. The author sets up very recognizable things that reference books and movies like that and has them go in unexpected directions as end of this episode shows. Its a more grown up version of stories like those and unlike the heroes in those stories, these characters are clearly way less idealized. Its such a thrilling trip to watch and its legit one of the best shows on tv right now.

Fair warning, this show has a lot of dialogue that's important So I would suggest for the most part, pay attention to what characters say, they like to lore and plot dump in this series, and it's really good when figuring out what's happening in the storyline Also yeah... the whole thing with the Dean at the end isn't even the worst graphic scene they've done, so big warning on that, this show doesn't hold back But I'm happy you guys are watching it, it is a good show

I swear, I tried to tell everyone I know to start watching this show and they all laughed and said no way. When I saw that you guys started reacting to this, it literally made my day. You guys have reacted to shows like, "The Defenders," and "Stranger Things." So shows that are on Netflix are obviously an option. Can you guys PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE start doing reactions to "Sherlock." The BBC Version with Benedict Cumberbatch as Sherlock Holmes and Martin Freeman as Dr. Watson. You guys maybe have see the 2 Sherlock Holmes movies that Warner Bros. has done with Robert Downey Jr. as Sherlock Holmes and Jude Law as Dr. Watson. Idk if you guys liked those two movies, but whether or not you did, this show "Sherlock," on BBC is sooooooooo good. Better then the Downey one, and I actually really liked those two movies. Cumberbatch and Freeman make an AMAZING PAIRING as Holmes and Watson. But unlike the two RDJ and Jude Law movies where everything that was great in the films included them, Jude Law and RDJ made those movies so good. But with the BBC one, Cumberbatch and Freeman are of course the main characters and their chemistry is SO PERFECT. But the strength in that show HAS TO be with the supporting cast. -Molly Hooper the Doctor who secretly loves Sherlock, -Greg Lestrade the Chief of Scotland Yard who constantly needs Sherlock and Watsons help even though it always makes him look bad. -Mrs. Hudson, the Landlord of 221B. Baker St -Mary Watson, who isn't just some girl like in the RDJ movies. She's a BADASS in this. -Irene Adler who you think has Sherlock wrapped around her finger, but it's a game and it'll blow your mind Theres a lot more great and interesting characters but THE MAIN REASON YOU HAVE TO WATCH SHERLOCK. Besides how great Cumberbatch and Freeman are. It's simple, ask ANYONE who has watched the show and they will all tell you that theres one character that makes you fall in love and become literally obsessed with. And that's... Andrew Scott playing James Moriarty. HANDS DOWN one of the funniest, interesting, genius, badass characters who has ever been on TV. Moriarty and Holmes relationship is so complex and intertwined that people actually thought they were gonna get together. Just based off how amazing they were together and how everyone couldn't stop watching. Idk you want SPOILERS, probably not. But the very last episode is called "The Final Problem." And if you watch him, and how he acts and carries himself in that scene, you'll know exactly what type of character and person James Moriarty is. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE WATCH SHERLOCK!

I mentioned GT as an example. They'll most likely start to hate the One-Eyed Conqueror, the Warrior, the King, and the Fool for the shit they do, but then go back to liking them again. That's my theory anyway.

I nearly laughed when you said Harry Potter because it's like if Harry Potter were told from the viewpoint if Voldemort had won in killing Harry Potter when he was a baby and everything was dark and miserable. I would definitely say its more like Narnia meets Buffy meets Game of Thrones. It's a very dark and stressful show and what was said about the s1 finale is very true. I nearly stopped watching it because of the finale and I watch a LOT of shows lol. I had to let my emotions calm down for months before S2 started that I went back and rewatched s1 to get the passion back about the show. I'm so glad I didn't stop watching. S1 was the darkest of all the seasons. It's gotten a lot lighter but that's only in comparison to how dark S1 was. Keep watching if you can. I think it's worth it.

This is probably a quite entertaining series if you haven't read the books, but as a huge fan of the books this is an abomination i can barely bring myself to look at, they got nearly everything wrong :(
