"Why didn't you make an antidote" that is actually such a childish question cause first of all who is gonna make an antidote and second of all some things dont even have antidote usually research is left open for years till professional government scientist might finally make it which is not guaranteed either.

Fun Fact: the knife actually didn't stab Ash's vitals and so technically he could have just gone to a hospital but since he cared about Eiji's soo much he thought he was a danger to him and so Ash went to the library and just slept. He died 9 hours later due to blood loss. ;D
