Enough of this bullshit, Mori is definitely a villain. But he is not a pedophile and did not let Dazai die. It was established long ago that he is a man of the brain and not the heart - that's why he led Yosana to war. And did not let Dazai drown in the river, and in case you didn't know - Mori saved Dazai when he jumped into the river.

I never said he was a pedophile?I didn't use that word even once.I guess the misunderstanding came from the sound on the tiktok,I meant to make Kaveh ask if Mori groomed kids (which is a different thing from pedophilia) but then decided to make it so he cuts himself off before saying it,I guess I should have made it clear that I was talking about that And yeah I know that he saved Dazai, that's how they met but I couldn't find any good tiktoks that showed the scene I already stated that I don't believe in those theories about Mori SA Dazai but I can't confirm if he is a pedo or not cuz he says and does weird things lol

Do I think Mori treated kids badly?Yeah but that doesn't mean he did anything inappropriate to them Dazai was a weird and smart kid too,both him and Mori had a strange relationship because of their mindsets (which we see from the fact that Mori was scared of him at some point),it is a complex relationship that some people just don't wanna understand because they want Dazai to be fully innocent and put all blame on Mori

I love this convo, and I’ve never thought of it like that for me I see it as people make it out that Mori is a pedo (which is fucking disgusting and disrespectful to the original author he’s based off of) not because they want to push the blame on Mori and make Dazai seem innocent (although I can bet SOME people do) it’s more so they want to make it seem like Dazai was forced and or make it seem like his villaince/evil ways stemmed and started from somewhere and when they see Mori they blame him because they don’t want to necessarily come to terms with the fact that their favorite character/hyperfixation is a morally bad guy and did bad things if that makes sense in a way?? I love Dazai, his character is one of my favorites because he’s so interesting to me but I hate how his fans can’t realize that he did bad things that’s fucked up, I also hate how his haters act like he’s still in his pm “phase” and that he isn’t actively trying to change, I also hate the fact that they hate how he abused Akutagawa (which is valid) but then turn around and like Akutagawa and excuse his actions like he also didn’t abuse someone which is hypocritical.
