Me seeing that last vid: “Time to feed my semi-Au” My Au: Basically Rody found out about Vince surviving but finds out that Vince suffered memory loss due to the fire along with the burns, After Rody agreed to privately chat with Vince he confessed that he felt familiar to Rody and that he was emotionally drawn to him(the theory that Vince loved Rody in secret, but mistook his feelings for his cannibalistic desire) So Rody meets a new side of Vince who isn’t as cold or violent as he was in the past, and they could potentially grow feeling without violence (I headcanon Rody as a hopeless romantic, especially because he was desperate to keep his relationship with Manon): so Rody with this reformed/memory loss version of Vincent, and is most likely still attached to him(even though he hurt him) most likely also wanted to apologize for leaving Vince for death. (Rody might unknowingly or unintentionally mold the potential relationship, because 1. He has attachment issues 2. He might not be willing to tell Vincent the full truth, taking advantage of his memory loss)
