This was awesome. The story was awesome, and your reading really did the story justice. The production quality was top-notch from start to finish. The music and post-production were both terrific, and your acting was particularly laudable. The scene with Flash and his father reminded me of the "Everything the light touches" scene from the Lion King. If there were problems with the microphones, I didn't really notice. @L3gion CP I completey agree with you on this, this story was spectacular and serves as a reminder of the quality of the fandom back in day. Although I am saddened that this masterpieces had its sequel - What Hath Joined Together eventually cancelled, with the original author also suddenly abandoning the fandom altogether without ever entrusting its completion to somebody else or publishing a blog post or a script to inform the audience what sort of ending was destined for the love-triangle between Flash, Twilight and Ironhoof. Nevertheless, the story is as enchanting and wonderful reviewing it today as it was a decade ago. Cheers for the decade anniversary since this comment was uploaded to KZbin, and to the recent 10 years anniversary since this fanfic was uploaded as an audio reading onKZbin!

Indeed. It's sad that the story was discontinued by the original author, with no information provided to the readers as to how the storyline was supposed to have develop and the eventual end about what was to be done about the order, and about the love triangle between Flash, Twilight and Ironhoof. I wish that BlackIris could have at least uploaded the part of the story that was completed - the last update being from august of 2015. Nevertheless, cheers on having your comment acknowledged for its decade old anniversary!

Indeed, this story was still beautiful and very well done despite the bad audio recording from the skype calls. It is very heartbreaking that the sequel of this fanfic " What hath joined together" was discontinued, with the original author never finding a way to oversee its conclusion despite the very creative storyline and wonderful writting style. It would have been wonderful if Hasbro had taken notice of such fanfiction sources - especially this one back in the day, and developed Flash Sentry's character in both MLP and EG along the romantic lines as featured in this storyline. That would have certainly added a new dynamic that could have articulated him into an actually essential masculin character that would have progressed the story in a new, more mature direction focusing on struggle for obtaining love. Unfortunately, this never happened partly because a large part of the fandom (including prominent members of the Brony community back in the day) were hostile to Flash as a character in both the pony and human form from the start. It is also very saddening that this wonderful fanfic's sequel was discontinued with the original author eventually vanishing altogether without ever being able to explain the reason why or arrange a way through which the rest of the intended story could have been made accessible to the audience, even if that meant being reduced to a script. Cheers though for the 10 years old anniversary since this comment was published and the recent decade old anniversary since this fanfic was uploaded to KZbin!

I've decided to pay a melancholic pilgrimage back to this video, on this day, to commemorate the decade old anniversary since this beautiful yet saddening story was uploaded to KZbin. It is very unfortunate that the original author of this work -Bad_ seed _72 never got to oversee a definitive end to the story and eventually left Fimfiction altogether - without entrusting the completion of the work to somebody else, or publishing a script from where the readers could have been informed about the trajectory and eventual conclusion of the storyline, following the last update from august 2015. Nevertheless, the unfinished story is just as enchanting as it is saddening reviewing it via both reading and audio listening at the end of 2024, as it was back in 2013-2014. Cheers to all those who watched this back in the hayday and still remember it over 10-11 years later! Remember, the MLP fandom owed it 'golden age' (2010-2014) partly because it had people such as yourselves who partook in enjoying its content, and encouraging further continuation.

This fanfic is some of the best I've ever seen. It's plot is intriguing and the storyline is very well written and detailed. I have been looking forward for an audio continuation on this work for a while. I understand that the story is very long and considering you also added background music to it will take alot of editing, not to mention that finding a crew to fill all the character roles in the storyline will be tricky, since MLP ended a while ago. However, I see potential in this fanfic that just needs to be featured on KZbin since it's too good to not be posted in its entirety. I can wait and I am in no mood to rush anyone, but I wonder if this channel was abandoned since last video posted was almost 2 years ago.

Colin Ottmar At the time of this writing, no, I do not have any plans whatsoever to do a reading of the sequel. "The Order" is a one-shot that stands at a little over 11,000 words that took me nearly a year to finish. At it's current incomplete state, at the time of this writing, What Hath Joined Together sits at more than 10 times that amount, with over 133,000 words divided into 22 chapters. While I would absolutely LOVE to do a reading on the sequel, the fact is it is much to big of an endeavor for me to undertake, especially at my current work ethic. Considering my track record with other huge projects, it could end up stopping a few chapters in. Not to mention Editing together a fic reading takes a substantially long time to complete, especially if you're like me, who adds music and sound effects. If I am able to gather up a small crew who could take some of the editing pressure away from me, AND if I can get through my work ethic problems, then I MIGHT do it. Might.
