Hmmm woulda been nice if you included spec weapons or the fang spec here. Rn I’m trying to figure out if BGS spec into fang or just fang spec at vorkath. Any ideas on which is higher dps?

Since the Fang is already very accurate, the BGS spec doesn't make much of a difference overall. You still get some extra accuracy if you get a strong BGS hit in at first, but I would just stick to the Fang specs personally since they're about the same DPS increase

I use Fang/BGS all the time at Vorkath, almost 2000kc. Personally, seems to be only good when it hits and BGS just whiffs a lot =/. However, when you do get 2 good hits in the effects are very obvious. Overall I think you're gonna want to just use Fang spec if you plan on camping a while. Glgl to you and everyone else slaying some Vorkmeister =] I'm actually getting news hot off the presses as I type this. Apparently Burning Claws are even better than Voidwacker. I'm very skeptical about this -.- but, I'll give it a shot and see for myself.

i got a fang today it made a world of difference at vorkath, im 97 range and 86 att/94 str and fang absolutely crushes vorkath, im doing 2-3 kill trips now when i only used to get about 1-2 in with blowpipe and elite void

Changed my mind fk dhl fang is the king unless you have max god level gear dhl is dogshit and needs a buff whilst fang hits no matter what and hits a lot

you can keep the fangs speed during the acid pool attack without moving horizontally by alternating between walking and running using CTRL when you pull away from vorkath and not using CTRL when you attack This means you will walk away for 3 ticks and run back for 2 since you run 2 tiles at a time in the same tick

if you wanna woox walk with the fang more easily while keeping its 5 tick attack cycle just do a dhl walk but 4 tiles instead of 3 and run for 1 tick so when i hit vorkath i hold ctrl to run for 1 tick and let go and repeat

While that is an interesting idea I'd much rather fall into a 6t rhythm of walking 3 tiles both ways. Sure I lose 1t per attack during that phase but it's way more chill

I think they'll probably take the Double Accuracy roll away for the Slash attack style. I feel like that makes sense, but there's prolly multiple routes they could take, so I am also interested in seeing what they're planning

​@@TheEdB0yswouldn't that just make slash entirely pointless on fang? Like even if a monster is weaker to slash having 2 stab checks every attack would likely result in more dps basically always? I could be overthinking this as I'm not very proficient at this type of stuff.

@@TheCryptical117 It would depend on exactly the monster's stab & slash defense, but yes. That's the point though. Fang is supposed to be a stab weapon. For it to also be REALLY good at Slash isn't a good place for it, since it's not a mega rare drop and it's already so cheap

I agree. I like Ranged Vorkath more than Melee Vorkath too, but that'll be a different vid 👀
