Got it to work first time. The key is the fan needs to be unpowered (not just “off”). So if you have a physical switch turn it totally off. You can also use the circuit breaker if you didn’t hard wire a switch. Step 1-switch if totally off (unpowered) Step 2-open app Step 3-add a fan, name it, hit confirm Step 4-click on the fan tile in the app (anywhere but the toggle sliders) Step 5-Power on fan (either by physical switch or circuit breaker) Step 6-Within 5 seconds press the Bluetooth tile on the app (left icon on first row) Fan should blink a few times, then it’s controlled.

Genius! You have no idea how happy I am to have found your comment on this video. I’ve been trying for a couple of months to figure this out and at 6 o’clock in the morning local time I read your comment and went through the process and it worked. Thank you so very much. Had no idea the key was to use the wall switch but that did the trick.

The instructions in the video is for a fan only. Not a ceiling fan/light combo. To pair a ceiling fan/light combo, turn off the light at the wall switch (or breaker). When you turn back on the power, press the Bluetooth pair button on the app. DO NOT press any button on the remote to turn on the fan first. Press the pairing button within 5 seconds only. This is where the video gets confusing when pairing a ceiling fan/light combo. When completed, the light will out and in to confirm that the pairing has been completed.

Using iphone and ios and cannot get it to work even copy exactly the same thing. I have a wall switxh and tried it miltiple time too. Doesnt work cannot conmect. Any solution?

I fixed mine guys. Turn it on from the button on the wall & not the controller, then pair it

Installed the lamp. Turned it on. Downloaded and started the app. Pressed the button as shown in the video - nothing happens. Should I find the lamp as a Bluetooth device first?

@@LinYouToo figured out already, you need to switch the lamp's electric supply first and within the next 5 sec it becomes visible in the app and you can pair it with the phone

Was working fine. Then all of a sudden, when trying to turn on fan with app or remote, it turns a quarter turn then backwards and stops. Tried turning off power, deleting and readded to app, installed new batteries in remote, cleaned off the blades. Help please

My app also stopped working!!! Just now when I tired to use it. app needs fixing ASAP my remote stopped working 4 days after installing fan and now app is also down this is so frustrating. It keeps saying please open the Bluetooth

Same problem I’m having here. No beep no light flashing. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled, nothing happens. The remote works fine. Did you find a fix?
