My head canon is it started with beta Arceus then beta Arceus made new as a test of his powers then he made most of the legends and mythicals but the more he made the weaker he would get so he made Arceus with most of his powers Arceus made the rest then beta Arceus would watch from the sea and sky and he hasn't been seen by humans yet..

To me beta Arceus has a more "god" feel to it because it resembles clouds emitting light or even a supernova or nebula. I like to theorize that this is Arceus' true appearance and it takes its current appearance in order to conceal its more heavenly form from humans and other Pokemon

To me beta arceus almost seems like a god that would be in a constant dreamlike state, kind of like the wind fish in zelda. It rarely focuses its complete attention on anything, but rather sends projections or small aspects of itself

brings me back to a time where i was super obsessed with arceus and its beta sprite (imagining it as a sort of result of a protostar or supergiant) and in awe of space as a whole the soundtrack alongside the image + granular/heatwave filter that you use just makes it all the more surreal.

I feel like beta arceus would be a ghost/ground type. In bdsp they should make it to where in order to access it you would need all 3 gods (palkia, dialga,arceus) I don't know if arceus is even in the game though
