At 12.20 to 12.35 David says the most prophetic thing...basically it encapsulates the way his album White Ladder found a place in a generation of Irish hearts in the late 90s...White Ladder was the right album, at the right place at the right time and a generation of Irish teens and twenty-somethings made it the anthems of our time. David may not have known it at that time but his association with Donal Dineen and No Disco...his first gigs in Ireland and the way we embraced that album was just that...right album, right time, right place...and the right songwriter and the right country to take a chance on. Love that man...absolute legend ❤️😎👍

Probably around 1995 or 1996, pre White Ladder and post A Century Ends. The first three albums are legendary, most of his output since is mediocre at best.
