Having something essentially beaten out of you is a terrifying experience. When I was 16 I stole some money from my dad's wallet and when confronted about it denied everything. He said he would cane me until I admitted it. I was well used to being caned so thought I could hold out and handle it. It got to something like 10 strokes across my shorts and althought the pain was excruciating I was holding up pretty well. Then he did something he had never done before, he pulled down my shorts & boxers and begun caning me on my bare skin. Oh my God. This hurt just so much more and I was in absolute agony. I got another 4 strokes and I was screaming with the pain and begging him to stop and I confessed to stealing the money. So I was very much like this boy in the video. There is a point when the pain becomes so much you simply do whatever you have to in order to make it stop.

I was caned by my parents at home when I was younger as I am Singaporean! 🇸🇬 Caning is actually a very common practice in Singapore compared to most world!

How young were you when caned by your parents at home? I would think for a young boy, if even over trousers, the cane would be a very painful punishment experience. Were you ever spanked by parents with hand or something other than a cane and ever bare butt?

I think they were speaking Swedish. Sweden was the first country in Europe to ban physical punishment of children, in the mid 19th century. Britain, where I live, was one of the last in 1986 I think

@@Antoineduval159 That’s right. U.K. state school ban was 1986 (applied a year later). Private schools ban didn’t happen until 1998, but by then a huge number of them had banned it for themselves anyway.

Our school was never allowed to lower a boy's trousers to spank or paddle him. What Alexander received was harsh punishment with that carpet-beater paddle with his trousers lowered. A minimum of 10 with an extra one for failing to apologize had to be painful.

In Singaporean 🇸🇬 schools, student leave their trousers on to be caned on the pants instead of the bare buttocks to prevent disgrace from happening!

School didn't use a cane, but a wood paddle and the boy to be punished was required to remove anything in his trousers' back pockets and the bend over. I only once got punished at school with the paddle. Were you caned on trousers at school?

We had the cane at our school. You had to take your trousers down and touch your toes, then the headmaster would give you six, sometimes nine or ten on your bare bottom. Very sore it was.

In high school a 15yr old girl got caned 3 times for hitting a teacher. I seen the marks. She never hit a teacher again. That was early 80s when it was legal.

This is how they punish students in swedish schools even today. They have to kiss the hand of the teacher after acknowledging that the teacher loves them.

We still have a paddle/leather strap (depending on what you did) but kissing the hand of the person is just creepy. If the teacher love you they can make an effort to show you instead of you kissing them. Kissing their hand just seems odd. I know some schools make you say thank you after and that doesn’t seem as bad.
