Smooth high-speed crossover switching movements. Nice to see that, especially on commuter operations like the LIRR!

Well THIS is something, It didn't take long for Elmont station to be built, this IS a shock because it takes [more than] a lifetime to get ANYTHING built to serve the public's interest in transportation ESPECIALLY in NYC + metro, UNLESS it's condominiums which takes less than overnight to build; I know this section of line, Bellerose is just down the tracks, I recognize the houses behind the new wall for noise control; I thought the Belmont Racetrack Station was going to be 'renamed' Elmont to appease the residents when it was under reconstruction, and 'talks of' plans for a station stop at Elmont, but it's true! I figured the Hempstead Branch would stop [t]here being that it makes all stops enroute, but the ride itself is terrible after Stewart Manor: the train crawls, the scenery is nice though (the comment about the route isn't new because I used to commute through here alot in the mid late 1990s workbound, yet, I was always on the Port Jefferson Branch-I still remember when they finally [and unfortunately] elevated the tracks above Herricks Road because dumbass drivers don't like waiting for trains to cross the right of way-pedestrians too-and then they will get a chance to sue for $$$ to 'get over'.

When can we expect the station at Rt 110 in Farmingdale to open? That would be worth doing, not this Elmont station.
