⁠@@Wybrion-123I disagree that AWB is the best defensive fullback. Not even close actually. He’s the best one-on-one defender, yes. But that’s one of about 10 necessary defensive attributes. And AWB is missing some important ones like defensive positioning, aerial duals, set pieces. He’s cost us a bunch of goals. And of course I agree he has barely any attacking pedigree or anywhere near the necessary dynamism and fluency to progress the ball at the right rhythm and be dangerous in attack. AWB is spectacular but overrated. He was not an intelligent signing. I loved him. But I gotta be real.
