Might be the best race of the year. So entertaining all the way through, from the haas explosion off the start with the wets, to lando slowly creating up on the top 2 to leading the race, safety car drama, albon with great passes, dramatic crashes, ferrari drama, Mercedes fighting at the top. It has it all really. Even though max won, he deserved it, he drove really well.

The difference between how Jarno Opmeer (who might actually be the only one in this compilation who knows what he is talking about) and all of the other Drive to Survive Netflix fans reacted to the wet tires strat by Haas sums up how lost some of these people are. Also, can we get rid of the screaming Scandi lady who never has anything interesting to add to anything except for yelling :"OHHHHHHH *insert driver name here*!!!!" New f1 fan here, is it normal in f1 fanbase to be supportive and happy when the enemy team that you're not representing are doing well? I came from football community and they are ruthless when it comes to enemy teams makes mistakes or does well. Constant banter and all but here they are being supportive to almost every driver

i can't speak for everyone, but for me personally, i like every driver on the grid - of course i have my favourites, but i generally support all of them to some extent. a lot of people will support only one driver or team and hate the others, but i find them to be an extremely small minority. most people, at least in my experience, either support everyone or at least more than one driver. don't get me wrong, there are definitely fan wars and a lot of drama and discourse at times, but most f1 fans i think are generally supporting of a good lot of the grid at once. i hope you enjoy your time in f1!

That's because of the drivers. Most of them root for the drivers to do good and not necessarily the team. No one really cares about the team in F1, it is all about the drivers who are the face of this sport. I am a diehard Red Bull fan and support Max but at same time I want Leclerc, Sainz, Norris and Alex to do good every race irrespective of their team
