Little did we know as Star Wars fans what this series was going to bring us. For 50 year old me it brought 13 year old me. Acording to anh Obiwan ses stormtroopers are quite precise and the novals state stormtroopefs are usUally well trained but the best trained troops are probley reserved for the higher up officials and top comanders while low rankth oficers get undertrained troops so that's what we usually see.

They put a tracker on the Falcon since Leia wasn't telling them where the rebel base was. Leia even says it was too easy. That's why the Death Star found the base after they returned home.

Man it’s crazy looking back at these reactions and seeing how much the show has expanded from this very first episode. I mean we went from a lone gunslinger making his way through the galaxy to him making allies with some of our favorite characters from live action and animation and helping to retake freaking Mandalore. Oh and the introduction of freaking grand admiral Thrawn as the main villain. Oh and he finally adopted Grogu officially. This was my first Star Wars live action show and I had no idea what was going on. I had no idea what Mandalorians were and missed most of the references despite having watched the movies. It was this show that got me to watch the animated stuff and then read some of the books and then it was downhill from there. I can’t actually remember when I fell in love with Mando, but it took a few episodes.

Fun Fact: Music is made by the Swedish guy Ludwig Göransson. He won the 2020 Emmy Award for Outstanding Music Composition for a Series (Original Dramatic Score). The composer was honored for his work on The Mandalorian. Well deserved, Ludovin. Great music!

Looking back on the first episode of the entire show it’s perfect in it’s simplicity, like A New Hope it isn’t super complicated or deep in lore but is straightforward in its intention, Hope is about stopping the bad guy and his army along with saving the captured princess and stopping the imposing base, Mando is about a lone bounty hunter who finds a child of Yoda’s species and vows to protect it while stopping the far smaller but more unhinged and defeated sect of the Empire

Even from this first episode, you can tell by their faces that they are watching the start of something special. As a youngster watching movies like King Kong, Jason and the Argonauts, Sinbad, and later other movies like Indiana Jones and Back to the Future, I've always loved action adventure that's over the top. :-) This is the Way!

@@tevcon317 Fallen Order was a bit shallow, not bad, but not incredible. Rebels wasn't as good as the Clone Wars and that's what it's compared to, it has a few moments, but not too many of them. Marvel's Star Wars has been stealing fan art so sometime now. Grays books are interesting, but so was 40 years of Star Wars EU.

I love watching the Force Awakens cutscenes like movies but I also really like Rebels, and two continuities makes it easy to like one without feeling mad that it contradicts the other. I dislike that it’s compared to TCW because it shouldn’t be, it only is because it’s animated. The two shows have completely different messages and vibes to them, And I believe the lighter tone fits Rebels better for what it’s purpose was. I love the EU stories (Darth Tenebrous is one of my favorite Sith Lords despite him not having much time dedicated to him) but I do still appreciate some of the new canon material. I could do without the prequel trilogy though, and I hope The movies are just redone all together (I’ve heard rumors of such) or are retconned in the future and replaced with something more promising.
