Which is the problem of it being an option: The people forcing it dont **want** - in any way - for their movement to be seen as "not the main character" or a joke. You want to know how this is correctly done? Last week the Online MMO Final Fantasy 14 released the usual Benchmark for a new expansion. The Benchmark included a character creatior for the new playable race and to see how your normal character looks with the upcomming grafics update. They player gave a lot feedback about things they liked and what they didnt. The response came yesterday. The Devs will rework the character appearance a bit and will release a updated Benchmark for us to test and give feedback again. They acutally listen to feedback and try to make it right.

The hilarious part about this is seeing even the most progressive Redditors and even lefty video game websites like Kotaku simply cannot bring themselves to support this either because even they can see with their own two eyes on how just awful this new update for Pokemon Go really is. What I love is that they FINALLY added hair options after 7 years. What I hate is that the fucked up the proportions of the characters. You can be tall and “average” or tall and overweight, but you can’t be skinny, short, or average height. The arms, legs, and torso are VERY stretched and looks like one of those stretched model glitches you’d see in a game. Niantic is a dogshit company who really doesn’t care about making this game better. There are TONS of Pokémon still not in the game after 7 years, they make the game extremely P2W, and they actively seem to ignore the real fans when we have concerns about the game like raising prices on items.

I was in the Navy when Pokemon Go came out. I was part of a group of people gathered around the NEX (Naval EXchange) and we got the cops called on us because there was about 30 people just outside the store at 10pm. The base church was one of those gym things and they church had to make a sign saying "No Pokemon Go allowed around the premises" It was bad.

I think the biggest of the changes that ruined it all was the textures on the player. They went from a somewhat realistic (of course still fictional) skin and facial features that looked like a soul was behind them, to a texture that removed the gloss/shading/light reflecting off the body and skin, as well as faces that are carbon copies with 1 or 2 minor details. The soul ripped from them all. Like, I love the fact they added additional body modifiers, but what we got in return doesn't come close to what we lost. Hell, they didn't even give the modifier to change your torso width (the thing that would prevent the lanky tube like body that's in game currently). It's just either fat or string bean. No hourglass figure, no wider pecs (includes males). Your hips width just become your torso's width. It's abysmal
