Absolutely beautiful figure! Fanstoys did an amazing job. Definitely will be picking up the Zeta box set, just because of the price and I really am just looking for a combine mode when it comes to Superion. But he is an absolute masterpiece. As always great review. 🌟

He honestly looks thicker than Silver Arrow. I liked how streamlined Zeta's was but this guy is just chunk city. His paint and face sculpt looks amazing though. The only problem with being fully painted is that it's going to be a nightmare once he gets a bit older and start chipping them off. Silver Arrow's he is pretty much an action figure you can play with without worrying too much about the paint. The transformation is something you will either love or not considering it's Fanstoys and they love to over complicate how to transform stuff all the time. At the end of it all, it's mostly for preference. Do you want an action figure-ish MP Styled Silver Bolt that is both cheaper and you won't have to worry about handling? OR a more "adult" display piece that you will set in a place never to touch again.

I think he's a good size as the actual plane is bigger than the planes that make up the limb bots and the seekers. I went with the Zeta bots though, because of the price.

If I was in on this my main concern with combined mode would be how heavy these figures are. Hopefully Fans Toys has it figured out.

Good work man! One of the first who owned this Maverick. For me it seems to be too complicated to transform. But I know that the MP scale means it. So ill will probably pick it up because i 'm so big fan of the Aerialbots.

It is definitely complex but my video doesn't do it justice because it's hard to film transformations like that on a big bot. In hand it's a very reasonable transformation and I don't think anyone will do better.

I just might pick up FT's version of the G1 Aerialbots and leave them in their individual robot modes. And use Zeta Toys' version of the G1 Aerialbots to combine to form Superion!!!

It's not qc issues...it's because fans toys can't be bother to transform it properly to fit in the box....they can't even be bothered to design packaging that works so it doesn't have to be mistransformed in the first place....and ft then have the bare faced cheeck to charge a small fortune for it...$180.00 ($179.99) plus shipping over at bbts...it will be a cold day in hell before I buy this or ANYTHING from fanstoys.
