OMG that last piece has incredible tonguing. I have no idea how he is able to have such crisp sounds while moving notes while triple tonguing. I know I still have difficulty, especially in that higher range where everything is closer together. This man has talent

Wow, a pre 1966 Bach Stradivarius long bell cornet with reverse 3rd slide stop. Fabulous horns either Mt. Vernon, or earliest Elkhart vintage. Chris has made quite a career for himself.

Chris is a monster. Prefer his C trumpet sound on his old Bach vs. the Yamaha Chicago C, although he'd sound great playing a garden hose. Looks like a vintage Strad cornet long bell vs. Shepherd crook version. Fantastic performance.

It's a Bach Stradivarius long-bell cornet from the early New York City period, to judge by the backward-facing third-valve-slide stop screw. Also, for even more mellowness, the bell is made of "gold" brass, with high copper content. I will guess that it's a large bore, which Mr. Bach, himself, favored.

abankse83 as music moves on in progress it becomes less of being musical and more of playing the right notes. It don’t think it should be viewed that way so I try my best to focus on the musicality of my pieces.
