Almost everything is mid about the game, and the only ost I like is boss music. It's like they were so tired when they made this game. Some good ideas, but implementation wise they are not that good. I also hate the generic anime art style. Like the type new artists try to learn on youtube.

I mean taste is diverse but.. how? All songs are super forgetable.. nothing pops out or hit's any emotion for me.

The Final Fantasy series is still my favorite. That's how I immersed myself in the RPG genre. I collect older titles on consoles and i´am happy about new content across platforms, although consoles are no longer my comfort zone. My PC is my main platform because simulations, which I also really like, run better on it. I bought the game shown in the trailer right from the start, not because it was recommended to me. I don't need game influencers, it piqued my interest, that's all I need now. Likewise, I've already played it, I'm happy with the first impression, we'll see how it goes.

It's such an amazing game filled with cozy diorama art. I find it difficult to leave any given town because it's so charming. 😊

This game deserves to be welcomed internationally as Mr. Sakaguchi's last game. Unfortunately, it loses a lot of points with critics in my country because of the no- translation/subtitles in my language. Square Enix you are one of the most powerful in the industry, why did you add battle music from other games and not provide translations for other countries ? The last game of the legend who gave you/us Final Fantasy, deserves at least subtitles. Please update it 🙏

It's not his last game. Sakaguchi is working on a dark theme RPG next. I dunno if it's Fantasian 2 or not but he also wants to do another Fantasian. You might be mistaking him with Uematsu which would also be wrong as he may not work on a full game soundtrack by himself anymore as he did with Fantasian.

Also square didn't make this.. they put 0 effort in anything other than bringing it over from apple arcade and slapping their name on it.. this was a mistwqlker studios product.

I recently beat the full game and if you like a challenge then you're up for one. It's the hardest Turn Base RPG I've played in the last decade! Thank you for such an amazing game 💗

Nice to see all these reviewers gave it good accolades. I preordered my physical copy when it was announced and Amazon still hasn’t delivered it yet. So, thanks for showing me praise for a game I can’t play yet.

Contact the live chat customer service or have them call you if you prefer. Type in your web search "amazon live chat" and it should take you to a number of links. I forgot which one it was but probably the refund one. When you're on the chat which will pop up in a small window make sure to specify you want to speak to a live agent and not the stoopid robot.

why not play it in english? So far you seem to understand the language and you seem to be able to communicate in that language as well!

@@Evilriku13 Yes, I can read English, but it doesn't feel the same as my native language when you immerse yourself in a game and try to get into the characters' minds. And there's always some uncommon word you don't know. On the other hand Square translates all the games into Spanish, I don't understand why this one hasn't been translated, and yet it costs the same as a translated game.

@@Megaace9 I get that but think about this: The game is localized into english AND it isn't trapped on mobile land anymore basically. I'm happy those two somewhat big hurdles have been passed to enjoy this game of Sakaguchi-san. Sure I could ask for more european language support.. but ultimately? It could be hella worse, like look at the Dragon Quest series their localization mess ups, the Tales of games and what Namco does to them or doesn't do to them by banishing half their games, or Star Ocean and Breath of Fire. Star Ocean at least made a bigger splash a while ago and seems to recover after WTF SO3 did narratively for example.

Sakaguchi has said he has no interest in working on or helming a future Final Fantasy project because it would ruin his experience as a player of the series now. He has long passed that torch on to others, and many at Square Enix are now looking to do the same. The plan is to train under studies and leave the franchise to a new, younger, fresher generation. Especially supported by those in CS1 and some in CS3.

@@kaitoudark1 I know that's what Sakaguchi said, but that is also what Hayao Miyazaki said, and he came out of retirement and made The Boy and the Heron. People change, and he is only 62 so there is still plenty of time for Sakaguchi to create more games. Wishful thinking on my part and many other Final Fantasy fans.

@@Maximusbyronusthat’s a fair point but sakaguchi has always been one to make the game “he” wants to with the team he’s teaching. He has his own methods at mistwalker. Yes this release of fantasian was down with square but all that really happened is he was allowed to add voice acting and final fantasy music to a game his team made with nobuo. In fact let’s be honest you could change the name of fantasian neo dimension to something like “final fantasy dimensions” and it would work here cause it’s clearly rooted in his legacy and role in the industry. It would take a big offer from square to get him to head the development of a new final fantasy game when he can simply make a fantasian 2 so to speak. Again though you have a point stranger things have happened over the years including recently kamiya rejoining capcom to development Okami 2. Not many thought it would happen but it did. Sakaguchi changing direction though right now does seem unlikely. The only way I could see the possibility imo is if it’s a collaboration but as the other reply to you said sakaguchi has made clear he has no intention to work on a new final fantasy cause he’s enjoyed being a player of them now. Square would have to really give a big deal to get the man to change his mind at this point.

That's ok I feel the same way there are other ways 🏴‍☠🦜 until Square Enix has regained your trust to buy their games. But let me be devils advocate for now. Remember, Mistwalker made this game first all by themselves probably with some financial incentive from Apple and was released on their Apple Arcade. All Square Enix did was port it to consoles and PC and added voice acting and other things. The bulk of the game was still created by Mistwalker under Sakaguchi's vision and Uematsu scoring the entire game by himself like the old days.
