Honestly, you have such great and fun hobby to do, shipspotting and planespotting are kinda my thing. And TBH how do you get the ship's information, do you use an app? Because I have one but it requires me to purchase the premium lol

Thanks:-) Before I was using marine traffic and fleetmon, but now no more usable because they change everything, need to pay so much >240€. So I delete my account. Now I am using vesselfinder premium 85€\year thats OK for me. The free version of vesselfinder has already a lot of data, but I need more. For airplanes flightradar24 silver 28€/year, that's fair prices Greetings

What lens for photography would you use at the canal, will 50 mm be to tight or will i have to go lower such as a 15-30 lens mm ish for getting the whole ship in frame, planning a trip this summer, i have from 50mm lenses and up, but not sure if 50mm is to narrow at the canal?
