why are people so upset that the video is sponsored. if the game is fun and its sponsored isnt that a plus? or do people think all fun with sponsors are immiediatly fake id rather take sponsored games that are fun (or at the very least similar to normal channel content) then having videos with large sponsor segments for completely unrelated products that may or may not be scams

Who tf actually cares that a game is sponsored? Like I only get mad at game sponsors if they are playing some idle game garbage or something. This game is completely in his realm (puzzle games/ strategy games) for his channel. People need to grow up lmao. You have to make money wherever you can in today's society. I thought this look fun so I immediately went to try it. I won the first run by spamming bombs that I could shoot bullets out of with another card, then a second run where I had insane amounts of repeat on my cards, causing me to spawn 5 little friends that would shoot like 5 bullets each. Very excited to see what more cool ideas they will come up with

dude, I've played this so much since this video came out. you gotta try a bomb build, my first run I tried the "drop 3 random bombs on the map" and found a way to repeat it a bunch and any time I saw it, it was basically a nuke and board wipe. my favorite I've got so far was centered around a card called "fabricate" that summons a bunch of zero cost cards for 2 heat. I found an artifact that makes tactic cards free on draw and paired it with furnace which adds repeat to everything if you have 3 heat. found another card that lets you move 3 and adds repeat to all zero cost cards, then an artifact that adds components onto drawn cards. pretty much just drew my whole deck until I reached the max hand size every turn, horded zero cost tactics (fabricate's also a tactic, so if I ran through my deck, shuffled, and redrew it I could spawn more zero cost cards), doubled, quaded, and sextupled my zero cost cards for more moves and attacks, and would go down the line killing everything in a column. a fun card for this strat too was explosive shield, cause I could like pentuple it, then add it to every enemy adjacent (was insane for the chess boss), then shoot one and like half the board would be wiped. the extension was insane, it felt like I was playing a combo deck in yugioh, my turns were so long

My first thought was "oh a ripoff of into the breach" then I watched a bit of the video and noticed the differences of basically no enemy ai and no buildings you have to protect to keep your energy, instead replaced with moving forward once, and doom

Despite me becoming instantly biased against the game after seeing its mechanics (nothing to do with it being sponsores, I just hate cards used for combat mechanics when unnecessary, probably only Slay the spire did click for me with them), after watching the video I would consider it passable. Still would rather play Into the breach any day of the week (no random card-drawing BS in my strategies) though.
