candybox 2 is only guaranteed if you have everything else maxed out already. you still had levels in karoma, so that took priority. that speech bubble that appeared was the coin pickup from the castlevania dlc reading 'heads' which kills all enemies on screen and turns them into small healing.

The angels increase your health regen by +5. It's really helpful early game, not so much late game. Also, the Umbra weapon is the dark version of Luminatio and having both their evolved weapons fully upgraded gives a Sole Solution-like passive that repeatedly does huge damage to all enemies, but it doesn't remove the character from the map.

I experimented with this character twice, and I got even crazier results using the darkasso with the arcana that creates special hearts from frozen enemies, that give bonus to growth, health and regeneration+ the arcana that spawns more freezes. It got so out of hand.

Hey Dex, Limit breaking a God tiered Peppino is a really fun way to make a crap ton of money in the game if you ever need some.. just so you know :D like so over powered that literally less than 3 min into a run with one weapon allowed, and fully leveled passives, and I'm already going limitless.. that's how much my TREE is powered by eggs XD

Ohh I understand so much your point. The DLC from top to bottom is just amazing. But I'm dragging myself to do every single unlock. Especially now that I'm at the "secret" secret unlocks. Then there were the bugs. And worst. I'm playing on the Switch where due to poor performance optimization and lack of adjustable effects (opacity for example) you're basically being punished for playing to good.

I've caused the game to crash with a few of the Castlevania weapon limit breaks, not many. It's kind of crazy how some can generate enough of a quantity of hits to actually make the Reaper move at a crawl.

Could it be that the game can only handle a maximum amount of actors on screen? With enough duration, projectile speed and projectile numbers it could definetly break the game by just filling up all the actor "slots" with projectiles. So that no more enemies can spawn and maybe even unloading the character.

Did you accidentally fall out-of-bounds? I've discovered that walls are much more sturdy in the most recent versions (I got trapped in Castlevania twice), but if you do get past them, you can't always get back in. Anyway, great video as always!

Like you said you didn't do the whole Castlevania dlc and don't know how evolution works It's not your fault but there's a wiki for that also Luminatio and umbra are the same functioning weapons one is yellow and one is black Luminatio next evolution is vol Luminatio Umbra next evolution is vol umbra Combined both vols together to get Universitas if you didn't how things worked Also the base form isn't strong then final evolutions

Paranormal Scan brakes the game always. Try it with 'Sanctuary' , 'Troll Bomb' and 'Infinite Corridor'. Get the following darkanas: 'Hail from the Future', then 'Moonlight Bolero' and last 'Sapphire Mist'. Sanctuary did around 6G damage and 4M dps lol

Lmao the game can be broken further. Vol luminatio can evolve. And if you somehow manage to get the evolution for the dominus glyphs with the evolution for vol luminatio along with things like lets say victory sword the screen gets so bad. I did it once and was clipping through walls without the scans, wings, or sonic boost on a 0 egg character. Ode to Castlevania can make so many game breaking glitches with the right weapons.

@@fireman6986 actually they do have something akin to it. The only problem is...if you disable the screen shake vfx it disables the thing completely. So let's say for example you had that one dlc weapon that changes the color of the gems. It wouldn't work. You'd still do the damage but you wouldn't get the buffs that actually make the weapon good. It's really bad especially when I was at bat country with queen sigma. It hurt because every 2 seconds I'd be hit with the holy cross flashbanging me. I had to disable that item because that was the only way I'd be able to play without eye strain.

The reason modifying transparency didn't really do anything is that the weapon you're using produces tiny sun-like orbs of light, with laser trails. The ORBS became transparent, the trails did not get impacted.

It's not the mod. I've had this bug happen to me very constantly when going crazy with menya moonspell, enemies stop moving, nothing dies, nothing does damage and the weirdest of all, candles stopped breaking. Also when playing with random events they stopped rolling, and every minute the last activated random event kept triggering. One of the times the random event it landed in before it bugged was "candybox" I got a candy box every minute, because nothing moved and nothing killed me and I was playing endless I got a candy box every minute until I achieved every base weapon, granted I couldn level anything up because I nothing was dying but it looked cool to have every weapon 🤣

It's unrelated to the mod. It could of course be that the mod may cause a specific issue, but it also happens fast that the moment someone uses mods, it's used as the reason. Several people had the issue here and the comment towards the end of the video by a dev of the game explains what happens. Pretty much the stats get too extreme and it infinitely keeps spiraling
