I have just discovered and started following your channel. I have never been so relaxed crocheting a new pattern ever. Your narratives are so calming and make me feel as though I can accomplish any square you bring on. I am using a lot of my stash on your squares. Some folks are going to be very surprised around Christmas this year. Thanks and keep up the great videos.

Round 7btip, i found it fairly difficult to create a neat fpdc after the shell bc there’s nothing securing it on the left side yet, so I used a child’s hair barrette that clips to keep the chain loop secure to foundation while I made the fpdc. Anyway, it helped! Much more neat and easier to control. 28:54

Esther, I was wondering if you would consider showing how you weave in your tails on rounds that don't have much substance, like rounds 4A and B. I'm always a bit intimidated by weaving in ends when there's not much more than a chain and a DC to work with, and I'd be interested in seeing someone else do it. Would anyone else find it useful?
@Itsallinanutshell7 жыл бұрын
on rounds that don't have much body I usually wait till I have made a few more rounds, then I weave the yarn through the chains till I get to a place with more stitches. then I weave it back and forth a few times over 4 or 5 stitches.

Hi. I'm not sure on the hook size on this one. I looked at the pattern online and it says a 6mm. Is this correct?
@Itsallinanutshell5 жыл бұрын
the hook size given in the pattern is in relation to the yarn the designer used. If you use a different yarn, you will use a different hook size

HI!!! I am totally lost in round 9 and 10 .... I have tried to make it 3 times now.. but .. and yes I have counted the stitches many times from round 8 ( I did that also once again to make sure it is correct.. ) In round 9 when I do 17 single stitches.. it all adds up ok... until I come to last corner.. and then there is not enough stitches to do the 8 last ones... I have NO idea where I am doing wrong..... :(

And I m trying to find written instructions.. but cannot find them....

The link to the written instructions are on the designer's blog. The link is in the video description.
