I have the Banshee so I must have this one too. I run SMC LIHV 2800 mAh 4s . My Banshee hauls ass with that extra power.

Strange she didn’t take off the grass. Some have done it and it looked easy. It seems that grass on your runway is pretty thick like a deep carpet… 👍🏼

Question: Did your 64mm Futura come with wing damage from the wing sitting on top of the battery hatch in packaging? I got mine in the mail today and there was 2 big holes smushed into the wing from it. I was worried when I saw Brian Philips video but I wasnt sure if yours had it as well. Mine sure did and it is very upsetting. Although yes it is a -$200 rc model we should still not have a vrand new plane come damaged because of poor packaging. I am going to send an email in hopes that they will replace the wing and then we can see for certain if FMS is in fact a good company. But my reason to bring this up is to ask if yours had any damage from the wing sitting on top of the battery compartment latch in shipping. Definitely something that really will upset alot of folks if they are expecting to receive a brand new rc model. I hope FMS fixes this for folks and definitely hope they fix packaging for future consumers. 🙏🏻

Well the Marlin is the Avanti design and the Futura is the Tomahawk design. Both fly amazing but if I had to choose one it would be the Futura.

Last week, after a long wait, I bought 2 of these from Turbines-RC, one for my son and one for myself as we like to fly in formation. Unfortunately both models suffered from ESC malfunction. After less than 2 minutes of flying the ESC goes into emergency mode, leaving just the servos working for an emergency landing. The cause is that the ESC is 40Amp while the motor draws 48Amp. We are very very disappointed considering the fact that for a 64mm EDF is very expensive, being more than Eur 80 dearer than the Motion RC Banshee. This also leaves me thinking that FMS does not test their electronics. Sadly I DO NOT recommend this model.
