Wow that was a nice presentation flight! I loved your flying style, those outside half loops, slow rolls, etc.... and I was excited and curious what your voltage would be after that powerful flight on the small pack for 4 minutes xD hahaha Good you are so skilled and had enough speed and altitude to come back safely. It was nearly perfect :D

You would have nailed the runway putting the flaps down at the end. But maybe it would have been a bit too slow (?). I have an older FMS Avanti v1 in perfect condition but haven´t been able to maiden her. So probably I´ll start with this Futura which is on the way... I´m curious what cell voltage you had at the end? 3,5 V? I don´t understand LVC, it makes you risk your plane. I would prefer to trash a battery... But as I heard here and in another video, a bit of throttle/thurst you had at LVC? so maybe that makes you safe her also in less good conditions...

@@ficosk8 Thank you! I’m glad your enjoyed the flight! I fly then a little harder then most! Especially on the maiden! So FMS has the LVS as a soft power cut then holds like 10% power. It’s not enough to fly but enough to keep the motor running. I should of used rudder and I would of mailed the runway but I didn’t know how well it floated and it floats! Really a light weight plane and flys light! After I got home I check the pack and it was at 3.4v and LVC is 3.2v so it hit 3.2v under load and rested voltage back to 3.4v. Good luck on your V1 Avanti maiden! They fly great! Yes, I mainly do helicopters but! Don’t worry, I’ll be posting more plane flights and flight videos. I’ve got some cool EDFs and a big 120mm composite T-45 I’m building and flying soon!

Hey @@westhobbiesrc8051 ! Thank you for taking so much time to answer me :D I´ll see how long I can and want fly my Avanti and this Futura64. As I mentioned I would prefer to land with 2,9V on the cells than to crash with 3,2 or 3,5V xD... But I suppose that as a jet and allround pretty beginner I´ll be OK flying around 3 minutes. I´ll test landings first too. Although our grass runway isn´t the best for multiple touch and goes or similar... I hope fun is plenty :) I have bought two Futuras since the second was cheaper than the first. They will arrive (I hope) in February. Maybe a club colleague wants to get the second one to do formations :D
