I am getting more and more interested in collecting Mark Waid's run on the FF, but apparently, there's something done with Thing at some point that seems controversial to some. Still trying to weed out what that might be. I do have, however, the complete Lee/Kirby run in variius formats.

The omnibus is getting a reprint! I can't recommend this run enough! It is the best modern run of FF for fans of the Lee/Kirby era. As far as what happens to the Thing? I didn't take an issue with it at all. And Ben Grimm is my all-time favorite Marvel character.

@TaylorTalksComics Good to know ! I've also been thinking of getting a couple of other titles, reprinted, written by Waid as well. By the way, I'm only missing one Kirby/Lee FF Omnibus, the most recently reprinted Volume 1, DM variant. Would you happen to know someone in the States who could help find me a copy, or wouldn't mind helping me with that ?

Quality of pages and binding of this omni are really bad. At least my copy has problem with binding.

Really?! That’s interesting. My copy is perfectly fine and I haven’t heard of this being a book that was notorious for that.

@@TaylorTalksComics Yeah I was looking forward to this one. I got it today and while I was stretching the spine I noticed it. By that I don't mean the same binding as Miles Morales Spider-man omni

@@TaylorTalksComics and I personally hate this type of paper. I expected something like New Teen Titans omni page quality (classic omni paper)

@@TheDanken07 yea... that sucks. I don’t know that they’ve gone through multiple printings on this one. Would you be able to return it and get a different copy from wherever you bought it from?
