In "Doctor Strange in the Multiverse " When Dr. Strange and America Chavez are prisoners of the Illuminate, the version of Christine that Strange is talking to says his universe is 616. In "Deadpool & Wolverine", it's designated on-screen as "616" and the "sacred timeline" when Wade is interviewing with Happy to become an Avenger. Now, why they decided to give it the same number as the main earth in the comics, I have no idea.

The other Marvel movies were produced by different studios. 20th Century Fox had the X-Men and fantastic four meanwhile, Sony own the right to Spider-Man. Disney bought 20th Century Fox in 2019 so now X-Men and fantastic four can now be used in the MCU

John Malkovich appears briefly in the trailer and widespread speculation is that he is playing the Red Ghost. The Red Ghost is a longtime enemy of the Fantastic Four. There is also speculation that the Mole Man appears, another longtime foe.

He stars opposite Haley Atwell (Captain America, Agent Carter, Mission Impossible: Dead Reckoning), Matthew Macfadyen (Deadpool & Wolverine, Pride & Predjudice), Tracy Ulmann, etc. It's a fantastic show that really demonstrates Joseph Quinn's acting range.

Fox's Fantastic Four movies are not in the MCU, nor are the Spider-Man movies before "Homecoming." They are in the MCM. Marvel Cinematic Multiverse. There's a difference. MCU is Earth 616, MCM is everything else. If you want to get technical, 'Loki' and 'What If...?' are not MCU shows, they are MCM shows. The new Spider-Man cartoon on Disney + is not an MCU show, it's an MCM show. X-Men '97 is MCM. Deadpool and Wolverine is MCM. Ang Lee's Hulk, the first three Blades, Daredevil, Spiderverse, Pretty Woman... All MCM.

I think the best part is that it doesn't necessarily look like a film that's placed in the 60s it looks like a film that was made in the 60s with today's modern graphics and 60s nuances or how they would have made a movie back in the day given modern technology which are two completely different things and I think they did a relatively good job

I love the fact the "First Steps" can mean a reference to the lunar landing, but also! >>>>Possible Spoiler: ..... It could also mean a baby's first steps, hinting at Mr. Fantastic's and Sue Storm's kids, which ties in to the strong family themes! And yes, I love the retro-futuristic look of their world! Comic accurate!

I think the trailer looks great, a friend of mine raised some concerns about how to fit this into the MCU timeline without retconning a bunch of stuff or having it take place in an alternate universe, which I really hope isn't the case. In MoM Dr Strange makes fun of Krasinski Mr Fantastic by saying “didn’t you guys chart in the 60s”. I know there’s a pretty small band from that time called the Fantastic 4 but now I’m wondering if he’s referring to this actual Fantastic 4 since they’re also from the 60s. It does bring up an interesting issue though. If this major world destruction event happens of Galactus coming to destroy the planet happens then it seems weird that things would be pretty tame in comparison for the MCU for at least the Infinity Saga til Thanos arrives. Vision had a line from Ultron that doesn’t really seem to fit. Paraphrasing he said: Since Iron Man announced himself there’s been nothing but world crisis events. Well if Galactus came in the 60s that should be pretty well known. It’s possible he wouldn’t know about the Capt Marvel 90s world crisis moment but the Galactus event should be known to everybody. I’m starting to think this movie isn’t set in our normal MCU Universe. It’s just another alternate universe movie with tie ins to the normal MCU universe later which is gonna really ruin the movie for me.

And to confuse Jen even MORE, this Fantastic 4 movie IS actually based in the 60's hence the futuristic retro look. that begs the question, well if the Fantastic 4 is supposed to be apart of the rest of the MCU, how are they fully aged 40-50 years before the modern MCU that we've already seen with Cap and Iron Man? It's not like Captain Marvel who's an alien that doesn't age normally. The Fantastic 4 are still humans who age like us. Well based on what we see in the trailer, Reed is writing a bunch of equations. We assume he's either trying to figure out time travel, or how to travel the multiverse. We assume he figures it out and that's how they either end up in the future, or they travel to the same universe as the rest of the MCU heroes that we've already met previously. Long story short, more multiverse logic for Holden to explain to Jen 😂😂😂

Yeah they confirmed a while ago that this movie and version of the Fantastic Four takes place in another universe altogether, so they don't exist alongside the "Sacred Timeline" MCU that we've been following since 2008. By film's end (or maybe at the beginning of the next "Avengers" movies), we will see this Fantastic Four team wind up either in the "Sacred Timeline", or elsewhere where they're able to cross paths with and meet the Avengers & other heroes that we know.

It's in a different universe and I believe they confirmed that RDJ's Doom is from this universe as well. I assume this will be one of the Earth's that combines with the main MCU Earth at the end of Secret Wars.

If you check some of the promotional art for this movie, you'll see that the city landscape is full of big futuristic buildings. I think it's also been officially confirmed that this is not "our" '60s (I mean, not the Sacre Timeline's '60s) but a another universe where technology is retrofuturistic. Is it actually the '60s for them or maybe it's just that they kept that aesthetic for the next decades? Nobody knows yet.

If you go back and watch the trailer again, the scene where Sue is wearing white and walks in and Johnny, you'll notice that she's pregnant. I heard rumors that Reed and Sue's kid will make an appearance or be the focal point in this movie and it seems like it's true.
