Haven’t watched any MCU in over a year or two. I still think the Dr. Doom casting with RDJ screams desperation but SOMEBODY creating this movie understands the vibe of the Fantastic Four and is an actual fan. And I hope that shines through in this one. Michael nailed it with this theme and fantastic cover Samuel😁! I just hope the movie matches the same love. Because the composer obviously gets it and I’m hoping that’s because the director understands the vibe and worked with Michael to get this theme down to match their vision. Because this theme alone brought me back to the early MCU days when they had to actually try. When the movies weren’t always 100% comic accurate but it was clear that team creating the films truly loved the comics and characters and were doing their best to make great stories with them. When they were totally focused on drawing in audiences instead of just holding on to them. Unlike rn where 90% of MCU entries feel like another episode of the world’s biggest and most expensive tv show. Throwing money at a million projects all at once not caring about the quality of any of them. Give us less content and let your directors and staff have some fun with it and time to try to make something special. That’s how you get butts back in seats and how you keep your franchise alive. Personally still not sold on the upcoming Dr. Doom Avengers movie but hopefully if they nail this Fantastic 4 movie it will breathe fire back into the MCU and show the execs the value of less content better quality. Then maybe fans like me will come back to the franchise🙂
