That just shows you how much Victor upholds his code of honor. He made a promise, and he kept it. Even after learning that that woman was a future Susan, who is a woman Victor is in love with. I've never really understood the idea of Galactus having a corpse or skeleton leftover after he dies. In canon, it's always stated that Galactus' true form is actually a mass of abstract cosmic energy that is held together by his armour in a vaguely humanoid shape (likely due to Galan's influence). Different races cannot fully comprehend what they're looking at so their brains interpret said shape to look like them. If this is the case, then we're Galactus to die, all that should remain is an empty suit of armor as the energy that comprises his physical form should dissipate or something.

I take it that you are new to comics? The Hulk is one the absolute strongest characters in the Marvel Universe. This is his son who is the product of She Hulk and Hulk so that is basically like multiplying the Hulk's powers. Now he was with a team of other crazy strong heroes as well. And Susan Storm is definitely not a D list character. She is mad op. Ain't no telling what her powers could be in a dystopian future where she had to fight and claw every day. So, Galactus being knocked by these beings isn't that far fetched. Plus, Hickman always knows what he's doing. One of the top best comic book writers.

@@Ragnar_5522 No. Not new to comics at all. I just understand the tiers of power in Marvel. And Hulk truly is"one"of the strongest characters in the MU but that's Earth tier...not cosmic! A gamma powered human is in no way, shape, form or fashion on the level of a being that is held as the third force of the MU(the other two being Eternity and Death). If you like Hickman's work that's cool but he sucks imo! He's changed to much of the original lore that made Marvel and a lot of it's characters(Galactus being one)worth reading!

See the funny thing about branching universes in a multiverse, is that multiple timelines share a common past - kinda like ancestry or branches off a tree. One, though, is always the biggest, the most important descendant, the final result of events unfolding as they currently are until that future occurs. By messing with that chain of events, you can make that end result change - prune the branch, change which future becomes the most likely because the events of the present have changed. That's basically what keeps happening to the future of Earth-616. A future path will be prevented by going back and fucking with it until things change. This usually assumes that time has inertia and it takes something critical to change it significantly though. The infinity of alternates so close to a given timeline as to make no difference - maybe one quark in the whole universe has a different spin - are either not being created because they're not different _enough_ or they do exist in a _separate_ multiverse. Yes that's a thing. Think of it as a stack of nearly identical paper trees that's infinitely tall, each only slightly different than the ones above and below it. Each one of those trees is a multiverse, with each branch a different timeline. Although in reality it would be more like an 11-D fractal that gives you a headache trying to envision because humans don't work that way.

Reed Richards- "I need to fix the problem of everything." The New Defenders- "our world is screwed, so we're gonna bring 8 billion people to your present. Yes, it will destroy life as you know it, but it's a positive change for us." Meanwhile a kid that can literally warp reality, sits in a room. This kid can charge ANYTHING in reality on a universal level. (yes, I know he's a kid and not in full control of his powers, but he won't always be a kid and he has the ability to travel back in time if needed. The earth starves, Franklin Richards could just create food from nothing. The Earth is dying from climate change, Franklin Richards could just change that. He can fix any problem without running into a resource issue, because he's not changing a rock to a hamburger, he is just creating a hamburger out of thin air. Worst case scenario, go back in time and educate Franklin Richards on the issues of the world, so he can fix them as he starts to gain control over his powers. Am I missing something here? Have they addressed this before? If he was a matter manipulator, he would be limited, but he can create stuff out of nothing. He could literally create a whole universe that is empty and resource plentiful, and just put the New Defenders on that version of earth. Problem solved. There is almost nothing this kid can't fix.

He has limited energy. Those limits are not well-defined at all. But as for why he can't fix things like climate change: his power operates on reality. Perhaps there are some aspects of reality that are more resistant to such change--such as Celestials, for example.
