When I still juggled, I could do a 4-ball fountain for about 40 seconds, but I didn't work on endurance. I got 44 catches or so once with 4-clubs. It took me about 3-4 weeks to learn 4-ball in 1993. There was no KZbin or internet then. I had to learn from a book.

My regret was trying to get the 5-ball cascade solid before learning lots of good 3 and 4 object tricks. Which 4 ball tricks are more difficult to learn than the 5b cascade? I really miss juggling a lot.

I wish I had learned many 3 and 4 object tricks in the days when I juggled. People start comparing themselves to others on KZbin and want to take the next step too quickly. If 3 and 4 just wasn't a challenge anymore and too boring, that would have been the time for the next step.

Love it! The sync patterns are especially cool. At 0:49, I'm seeing [2x,6][2x,6][6,2x][6,2x].... am I reading that pattern right? Not one I've seen before, looks really nice. And what the hell is that from 1:32 to 1:34? Looks like [6,4x][4x,2][4x,6][2,4x].... another pattern I've never seen, and it looks awesome!

Hectic juggling! I especially liked the multiplexed start at 1:25. I'm still working on three ball tricks, like the 7131 and 3 up pirouette (without a great deal of success so far). I really like the look of four balls though, and I don't understand why it seems to be less popular than 5. Do you have a favourite number of props?

Thanks Jefferson! Personally I've always enjoyed juggling 5 balls, everything from the feel of juggling 5 balls, the look of it, and the tricks I love so much! But lately I have been enjoying 4 balls as well. :)
